Typically the users do not list what article they are in when asking a question. It would be great to automtically populate the Parent Category -> Category -> Article name like in "Active Response" in the email itself

Currently, when a user searches for text they are routed to a page having a list of articles that contain the desired text. However, when one opens the article, none of the search text is highlighted and so the Browser search tool must be used to find the text in the article. I propose that the searched-for text be highlighted in articles

When manually defining related articles, it would be better to be able to define the order they are listed. They are displayed to the visitor as an ordered list. In our situation they are multi-stage articles (e.g. part 1, part 2 etc.) for a long/complex issue. Therefore obviously we would like to list part 2 ahead of part 3 in that list. The default sort order seems to be by article ID (therefore based on age) and they were not created in this order.

Sometimes, we make new articles to take the place of old (obsolete) ones, instead of updating them. This article could be related to others through links in other articles, or even our external sites. When this happens, there's no way to know where the obsolete article was linked. An "Articles that link to this one" list somewhere in the article Edit window would be useful for this, since then we can update the links to the newly created article.

The captcha functionality is useful to reduce spam in comments for articles that are publicly available. But for comments on restricted articles, the readers will already have authenticated themselves by logging in. It makes no sense to require captcha on their comments!

Hello - We use Knowledgebase manager Pro as a support system and while that current stats give us a good over view of total system use, it would be fantasitc if we could get some "standard" web stype stats like time on site, time on pages, pageviews and visits. It would also be fantastic if we could run stats reports on date ranges so we can track historic use of the system and relate that to current use of the system. Currently we are using goolge analytics to try to get some base useage stats. While these are great for useage overviews, they don't actually go down far enough to show us specific pages and their overall use (due to the way the template system works. We need a check on content. So if there is a new article and groups/users have been subscrived to it and receive info about a new article then they should read this. We need a check on this to see that people have @least followed the link. Manufacturer's demand that we can show them proof that people have read the new info/article. Offcourse after reading it we need a proof of it. If somebody did not read it then they need to be send a reminder and we need to be aible to see who havent read it.

Firefox built-in search works in both modes. KMP search works only for rich-text mode and doesn't work for HTML code view.

I would like to suggest having personalized icons for the articles in the knowledgebase. Instead of the regular "blank page" icon that all articles have, perhaps we could select a "film icon" to distinct articles with embedded video or other icons.

KB Manager is a product used for technical support / hotline etc.. some company like mine have Onsite technical people who need to access the KB during onsite visit. When they browse the KB via BBY the display is terrible. I would be great if the could access a different portal with a display optimized for SmartPhone. Feel free to use it. It is available in every browser. Just press Ctrl-F to see the search function.
Find and replace is also available in WYSIWYG mode as KMP tool (you can find it on the article edit toolbar), but not in the source mode as of yet.
